RSD Title 1A 2019-20
Title 1A Specialists believe that in order to close the achievement gap for our most at-risk students, we must:
- Intervene early and strategically
►Staff in the school community consistently collaborate to define needs and determine services for all struggling students.
►Multiple assessment measures and teacher input is carefully considered to purposely select students to receive additional instruction.
►Systematic and explicit research based interventions and strategies are used to teach struggling students and progress is continuously monitored.
- Educate and support staff and families
►As a resource to staff and families we must stay current on best practices for helping struggling students achieve.
►We will provide a variety of learning opportunities for families and staff to positively impact student achievement.
