Purpose. Respect. Inspiration. Determination. Empathy.

The mission of Terrebonne Community School is to help every student grow with purpose, respect, inspiration, determination, and empathy. Students use the tools and skills needed to accomplish their goals while treating others the way they want to be treated, following the Platinum Rule. Inspiring people, places, and experiences motivate students to work hard and do their best. By setting goals and staying determined, they learn the value of perseverance, while empathy encourages them to understand how others think and feel and to walk in someone else’s shoes.

Welcome to Our School Community

Dear Families and Community Members,

It is my great privilege to welcome you to our school—a place where we are truly rooted in community, growing together.

At the heart of everything we do is a deep belief that education is a partnership. We know that when families and educators work hand in hand, our students thrive. Your voices, your insights, and your involvement make our school stronger, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us each day.

Our commitment to your children goes beyond academics. While we are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and a love of learning, we also recognize that growth happens in many ways. We prioritize the social-emotional development of every student, creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to be themselves. We celebrate their unique strengths and support them through challenges, knowing that resilience and confidence are built through care and connection.

As our students and families navigate transitions—whether it's a new school year, a new grade level, or new experiences in our community—we are here to walk alongside you. Change can bring uncertainty, but it also brings opportunity. Together, we will ensure that every transition is met with support, understanding, and a sense of belonging.

Our school is more than a building; it is a community where every child matters, every family is welcomed, and every voice is heard. We are excited to grow together this year and for many years to come.

Thank you for being part of our story.

With warmth and gratitude,

Cyndi Ganfield
Principal
