Purpose. Respect. Inspiration. Determination. Empathy.

The mission of Terrebonne Community School is to help every student grow with purpose, respect, inspiration, determination, and empathy. Students use the tools and skills needed to accomplish their goals while treating others the way they want to be treated, following the Platinum Rule. Inspiring people, places, and experiences motivate students to work hard and do their best. By setting goals and staying determined, they learn the value of perseverance, while empathy encourages them to understand how others think and feel and to walk in someone else’s shoes.

Principal’s Message

A woman in a beanie smiles while hugging a donkey.

Welcome to Terrebonne Community School! As your principal, it is my honor to support every student in growing with purpose, respect, inspiration, determination, and empathy. These five values guide everything we do, from the classroom to the playground, helping students develop the skills they need to set goals, work hard, and succeed. We encourage students to use the tools and strategies they have learned to accomplish their goals while treating others the way they want to be treated, following the Platinum Rule.

Inspiration is all around us at Terrebonne Community School, whether it comes from teachers, classmates, or meaningful experiences. We want our students to feel motivated to always try their best and continue growing every day. Determination plays an important role in this process. By setting goals and persisting through challenges, students learn the value of effort, resilience, and follow-through.

Empathy is at the heart of our school community. We help students understand how others think and feel, encouraging them to see the world through different perspectives and act with kindness and understanding. This focus on empathy allows our students to build strong relationships, resolve conflicts thoughtfully, and contribute positively to our school and beyond.

At Terrebonne Community School, we are proud of the caring and supportive community we have built. Together, with students, families, and staff, we foster an environment where every child can grow, learn, and thrive.
